Our finishing tolerances are designed for solid wood applications. Application of finish on veneers and MDF may result in a slightly different color. Similarly, stains applied by the customer may vary slightly from those products stained in our finish shop. To ensure a close match, customers should contact Customer Service and ask about our Duraguard® Finishing System. Instructions for application are enclosed with every can of stain sold.
We cannot predict how a door, or portions of a door, will accept stain. Therefore, if a door meets our material specification standards in its unfinished state, it will be considered acceptable after finishing as well. |
