WOOD SPECIES: We offer 24 different wood species available in 3 different grades: Standard, Premium, and Value. Most species are available in Premium (our best material) or 1" thickness. Other species are available upon request. They include:

WOOD SELECTION: Our wood selection is a step above our competition. In our "Standard Grade" we allow fewer natural defects to appear in the wood, giving you a Quality Advantage. We offer "Premium Grade" (our best stuff) which is to be used for natural or light finishes. We also offer a "Value Grade" in Red Oak and Cherry for medium or darker finishes.

FINISH OPTIONS: Maple Craft USA now offers to finish your cabinet doors, drawer fronts, and other wood components in one of our vast array of over 500 stains, glazes, Colortones, and Heirloom finish combinations. We use high solids, moisture resistant Conversion Varnish to create the excellent quality furniture grade finish you expect in your kitchen cabinetry.

CROSS-GRAIN SANDING: All of our doors can be polish cross-grain sanded to 220 grit. This can be requested as an additional service which will allow you to finish the doors without the task of sanding, saving you time and money. The face of the doors, as well as all interior and exterior profiles, can be sanded during this process. This is included when you order. (Note: We recommend before finishing that you lightly hand sand out any slight packaging marks made on the wood.)

CRAFTSMANSHIP: Our tennons are tapered to allow for a better joint strength, with few gaps and better glue coverage. A special consistent gap is left between the panel and the stile and rail to allow for better finish coverage.

TECHNOLOGY: Our panels are completely free floating. The panels are surrounded by rubber spacers (8-10 per door) which allow for expansion and contraction. This process also centers the panel perfectly, as well as eliminates the potential of a rattle.
