	Veneer Wrapped Moulding Specifications

Veneer wrapped mouldings feature a medium density fiberboard (MDF) core with grade A veneers applied to the profiled face of the moulding. These mouldings are structurally sound and offer an affordable alternative to solid wood mouldings.

The MDF core of these mouldings offer a higher level of stability when compared to solid wood and are less susceptible to twisting, bowing, and warping.

Veneer on the face of the moulding is approximately 1/64” thick.

Veneer wrapped mouldings come in your choice of Cherry, Hard Maple, and Red Oak species.

Veneer wrapped mouldings are offered in 9’ lengths. These mouldings feature nine feet of finger jointed veneer (no more than one finger joint).

Nine foot veneer wrapped mouldings will ship 107” to 108” in length.

Nine foot mouldings lengths can be shipped by express carriers including overnight delivery service.

To avoid cracking of the veneers during the veneer wrapping process, all corners and sharp edges have been eased slighty.

Since the faces of these mouldings are real wood veneers, they may finish slightly different in color or tone than other solid wood components.

Available in a variety of stained and glazed finish combinations.
